Big news to share!

We are delighted to announce that Group One West Institute for Climate Research & Cultural Stewardship is now a registered non-profit Society registered in British Columbia.

This milestone anchors the non-profit side of our hybrid model—paired with the soon-to-launch Group One West Eco-Resorts Corp.—that proves tourism can be a force for climate repair rather than climate loss.

The Institute exists to do three things:

1️⃣

Generate practical climate science

in real-time.

2️⃣

Elevate Indigenous knowledge

side-by-side with Western research, co-led and co-governed with partner First Nations from day one.

3️⃣

Open-source every breakthrough

so communities and businesses worldwide can move faster toward carbon-negative, energy-positive operations.

Together with the eco-resort—a living laboratory running on 100% green power and designed to be carbon-negative—we're out to show that unforgettable travel experiences can fuel climate innovation, cultural resurgence, and real economic resilience.

Thank you to everyone who helped us clear this first regulatory hurdle. Now the work (and the fun) really begins. Stay tuned for partnership opportunities, research calls, and a front-row seat to how regenerative tourism can help repair the planet.
